On the southern most tip of the Continent of Africa is the infamous Country of South Africa. Born on the eighteenth of July 1918 he rose to power andserved as President from 1994 to 1999. His government was focused on the dismantling of apartheid and tackling the common problem of racism, also keen to foster racial reconciliation and peace between the black and white communities. He died of respiratory infection in 2013 aged ninety-five,having survived twenty-seven years in a South African prison.
South Africa is also famous for its history and mining of diamonds, discovered in Cape Colony in 1867, a large source of diamonds radically changed the Worlds supply.
