MaryHardingJewelry Bead Blog: Ornament Blog Hop
Artwork Bead Scene is owning its 6th Once-a-year Ornament Site Hop now. I have been wanting to make some Christmas Tree ornaments for various yrs now but just did not get to them. So this yr I set aside some time. I resolved to make them from porcelain clay and use some of my own texture stamps for decoration. I looked via my stash of cookie cutters for a Xmas tree shape and discovered a tiny a person as seen in the picture over and went to operate. Since porcelain clay requires a sluggish drying time to stop warping, I started get the job done on these various months back. I also wanted to make some even bigger trees for ornaments and identified a style and design I preferred in a metallic cutter and made the next established of Xmas trees noticed underneath.
These have been also an experiment in glazing and I love how the shades came out.
Future I preferred to do a set of photo transfers onto polymer clay. I selected some Victorial Floral photos for these trees seen beneath.
These Victorian Floral picture ornaments can be hand coloured or remaining black and white. I like the high quality of the black and white so I have not colored them.
All of these ornaments I created lend by themselves to becoming hung on a tree or a wreath with a simple hook or ribbon.
I hope you will stop by the other weblogs in this hop.
Many thanks so for stopping by.
Delighted Holidays!!!!
