Coles supermarkets shut doors after IT meltdown
Purchasers ended up booted from Coles outlets around the state shortly right after 5pm in Sydney right after an IT outage reportedly stopped hard cash and card payments from operating.
Staff ushered prospects out of outlets and rolled doors down to reduce other individuals from coming into.
Perplexed customers took to social media as the circumstance unfolded.
“Halfway via a shop and we are instructed that hard cash registers at all Coles outlets are not operating because of to IT difficulties,” Tracy Findlay wrote on Twitter with a photo exterior Coles Asquith.
“They’re not sure for how prolonged. Off to Woolies.”
It is not yet known what has caused the concern on when it will be settled.
