GOOD NEWS: MC inducts 14 students into Communications Honor Society
MIDLAND Midland College inducted 14 college students into the Beta Theta Chapter of Sigma Chi Eta Communications Honor Modern society on Nov. 30.
The ceremony was held in the Allison Good Arts Making Wagner & Brown Auditorium on the key MC campus.
“Being inducted into any honor modern society is no modest accomplishment,” Damon Kennedy, MC vice president of Instructional Companies, observed during his tackle to students and their people at the ceremony. “These learners are to be commended on their dedication and motivation to striving for results.”
The inductees are: Valuable Bamidele, Reagan Brookings, Madison Currie (chapter historian), Angelica Flores, Maria Gonzales (chapter secretary), Cung Lian (chapter treasurer), Clayton McLain, Abdullahi Oyeniyi (chapter vice president), Janellie Pallares, Megan Runyan, Ginny Schechter (chapter historian), Sui Tial (chapter president), Ashanti Torres and Jeannine Woolsey.
To be qualified for membership in Sigma Chi Eta Honor Culture, students ought to have a 3.25 GPA in a speech or communications course and an all round 3. cumulative GPA. They have to also reveal determination to their neighborhood and serving other people.
