Gurit appoints Dr Lutz GM of business unit wind materials

Gurit, a maker of sophisticated composite supplies and composite tooling gear, has declared the appointment of Dr Ernst Lutz as general manager of business unit wind supplies and member of executive committee, productive September one, 2020. Lutz has solid specialized knowhow and extensive leadership experience from a international business ecosystem.

 

Lutz will report to Rudolf Hadorn, chief executive officer of Gurit.

 

Lutz is joining Gurit from Grundfos Holding A/S in Denmark, where he held the place of group executive vice president of business development and chief technology officer. Prior to this, he served in several international executive positions at Sulzer Ltd Switzerland and at the Alcan Team. 

 

Lutz is a Swiss countrywide and retains an Engineering Diploma from ETH Zürich where he graduated in Fluid Dynamics and Composite Mechanics. What’s more, he retains a PhD from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and Point out College Division of Engineering Science and Mechanics as nicely as an MBA from the College of Zurich and College of New York at Albany.
