Kate Garraway shares update on husband Derek as he battles coronavirus in intensive care

Kate Garraway has shared an update on her critically ill husband Derek Draper as he continues to battle coronavirus in intensive care.

The Superior Early morning Britain presenter took to the weekly Clap For Carers to update supporters on her husband, as she has been performing every single Thursday.

Having to her doorstep along with her young children, William and Darcey, Kate was observed banging on a pot in the psychological online video as her neighbours cheered.

Smiling for the camera, Kate, fifty two, wrote along with the clip that Derek remains ill, but that she is “staying positive”.

The I’m A Celeb star wrote: “So significantly to be grateful for tonight. Derek is even now with us but what a battle it is.

“So grateful way too for our wonderful #nhs performing so significantly for Derek every day – amazing to see all the support for them & our critical personnel every single Thursday. We cannot thank them sufficient can we ? So brave.”

She continued: “Sending enjoy to absolutely everyone through this ghastly time , significantly all those people struggling for no matter what explanation- none of this is effortless. Thank you so significantly for your messages – they signify so significantly to me. . Really like and so significantly many thanks from me and the complete spouse and children. X”.

Previous week, Kate’s GMB co-star Ben Shephard discovered how she has been in a position to see him in healthcare facility and has been speaking and taking part in tunes to Derek.
