London Jewelers donates food to New York healthcare workers

The combat from the coronavirus in New York just acquired new weapons: glittering jewellery and luxurious watches.

In the course of April and Could, London Jewelers — the tri-state area’s leading vendor of designer bling — is donating a part of profits to getting foods from community eating places for the courageous gentlemen and girls doing the job in New York-region hospitals.

Dubbed #LondonJewelersCares, the new initiative will offer scorching foods to the intrepid staffs of North Shore University Hospital, Glen Cove Hospital, Extended Island Jewish Health care Middle, Mount Sinai hospital and NYU Health care Middle.

“We are so grateful to our very first responders and hospital staff members risking their lives to just take treatment of other individuals,” claims Scott Udell, co-vice president and a fourth-generation member of the London Jewelers household. “We thank them for their bravery and hope to convey them regardless of what ease and comfort we can with a smile and a scorching meal.”

The household-owned business — established by Charles London on Faculty Street in Glen Cove, Extended Island, in 1926 — has now begun making foods deliveries. They’re also featuring wellbeing-treatment staff 20% price reduction on purchases (excluding some makes) on their site.

“As a smaller household-owned business, our aim is to deal with absolutely everyone in our group like household,” claims Randi Udell Alper, London Jewelers’ co-vice president. “We want our wellbeing-treatment staff to know they are in our feelings and prayers at this complicated time. We are listed here to display our appreciation and gratitude, and to give again to the communities that have supported London Jewelers for ninety four a long time.”
