Loose Women’s Kaye Adams shares health update after having Covid booster jab

Loose Women star Kaye Adams has given a candid health update after receiving her Covid booster jab.

The 58 year old, who recently clashed with Nadia Sawalha live on-air, is one of many to get her third shot after a new Covid variant Omicron was detected in Essex and Nottingham.

And on Saturday night, the television personality took to her Instagram Story to reveal to her 116,000 followers what reaction she had to her latest vaccine dose.

“So no, I have not spent the last 24 hours in this car, but it has been 24 hours since I had my booster, so I thought I would fill you in on the side effect that I have experienced,” she began.

In her next story, Kaye said: “None. Nada. Zilch. Net, Nothing, Rien, I’m tickety boo.”

Kaye has long been a supporter of the Covid vaccine and regularly urges people to get it.

Earlier this month, Kaye entered into a heated debate with her Loose Women co-star Carol McGiffin over the topic of sacking unvaccinated care staff.

Kaye said: “I’m really torn by all of this. I don’t want to convince anyone to have a vaccine that they are not comfortable with.

“I think it’s really sad that we should be saying this to people after the 20 months that they have had and the dedication that our care workers have shown. I think that’s horrific.

“But I also have to say, having spent four years with my mum or dad having carers coming in every single day all the time, if somebody had come in and said ‘I’m choosing not be vaccinated,’ I would have had a problem with them looking after my mum and dad.”

Carol hit back, saying: “I’m really uncomfortable with the decision to force care home workers to have the jab in order to be able to do their jobs. I find it quite frightening, actually.

“I think it’s taking away people’s freedom of choice to have a medical intervention.”

Carol continued: “You can’t have the government saying that it’s going to save lives because it’s not.

“If all these people leave the care sector, it will just be absolute carnage, and I can’t believe they are doing it, and I can’t believe they are going to do it to NHS workers.”
