Making Beads Doing the Twist

Not too extensive in the past I arrived across a deal of beads deeply concealed in my stash.  I experienced bought them at the very least 10 years back in Freeport, Maine at The Beadin’ Path, a excellent bead keep that is no longer in organization.

I tried out rolling out some spherical beads and twisting them but that did not get the job done.  Then I got the notion that if they ended up very first built into a 3-d disk bead that possibly that might  operate. That seemed to be the respond to but the twist was much more intricate that I had considered.  I put my fingers on the glass Czech bead to get an plan of how to I would have to twist them.  It was rather awkward as the fingers on each hand would have to go in the opposite direction.  I persevered and the initially set of beads I designed is in the image underneath.

Considering the fact that I did not get into account that my clay shrinks 12% through the drying and firing process, mine are somewhat more compact than the initial strand but I am  happy to use them in some of my freeform peyote sew work.  I have a bracelet I am operating on that they would go perfectly with.

I also built some in blue and white to see how they would seem. 

If I make extra of the blue and white beads I imagine I will skip the white aspect and just have them in blue.    

But the first established of beads–  I am just mad about the coloration and have been trying  it on other items as perfectly.
