Nine new stores are coming to NorthPark Center for spring and summer shopping

Dallas’ NorthPark Center continues to attract emerging brands that bypass the malls in other cities. Most of the nine new stores opening soon are Dallas-Fort Worth or Texas exclusives for the mall.

Buck Mason is a casual men’s and women’s clothing brand from Los Angeles that started out trying to build the perfect T-shirt and now has 12 styles for women. The brand, which has shops on Newbury Street in Boston, Georgetown in Washington, D.C., and South Congress in Austin, will open this summer on level one between Nordstrom and Macy’s.

Ganni, a women’s fashion apparel brand from Copenhagen, is opening this summer on level one between Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom. The European brand’s has U.S. stores in places such as Miami’s Design District, Brooklyn’s Williamsburg neighborhood and on Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles. Ganni is also opening on South Congress in Austin soon, so this is a Dallas-Fort Worth exclusive.

Breitling, a Swiss watchmaker since 1884 that has an aviation line that’s popular with pilots, is opening this summer on level one near Dillard’s. It will be the only Breitling store in Dallas-Fort Worth. With American Airlines and Southwest headquartered here, what took them so long?

Burberry, a longtime NorthPark luxury brand, is working on a new concept store that will open this summer on level one between Neiman Marcus and Dillard’s. We don’t have details on it yet.

Hive & Colony is a bespoke menswear brand from Boston with a buzzy name that uses a 3D body scanner to design suits and other clothing from a selection of fabrics and styles. It opens in the fall between Nordstrom and Macy’s and is a Texas exclusive for NorthPark.

Maria Tash is a Texas exclusive for NorthPark that will open this summer on level one between Neiman Marcus and Dillard’s. Tash is the designer who is credited with making the curated ear with multiple piercings a fashion thing. A new Dallas-based jewelry store focused on ear piercings, Wildlike, sells her earrings.

Scanlan Theodore is an Australian luxury women’s designer brand that makes tailored clothing for work and dresses for play. The store is a Texas exclusive and opens this summer between Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom on level one.

St. John is moving from Highland Park Village to NorthPark. The luxury knitwear brand will open this summer on level one between Neiman Marcus and Dillard’s.

UpWest is a lifestyle brand based in Columbus, Ohio, that uses the slogan “comfort for good.” It sells men’s and women’s apparel, as well as wellness and home goods. UpWest is opening soon on level two between Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom.

If you haven’t been to NorthPark in a while, you may have missed a few developments already. Shake Shack is open now in the food court, and several stores have opened recently, including Jo Malone London, Levi’s, Lip Lab and Nicole Kwon.
