LUDHIANA: Ludhiana’s hosiery market is battling to meet up with demands this winter season period amid the COVID-19 pandemic and ongoing farmers’ protest thanks to which the traders from Delhi, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh are not able to achieve below to purchase the content.

The early onset of winter season brought a ray of hope for the makers of woolen wears, however, they are not able to meet up with the demands amid the pandemic and now the protests currently being held by the farmers at Delhi borders has also impacted the hosiery market below.

Speaking to ANI, Anuj Bahal, shopkeeper at a wholesale sector stated, “The marriage period is a little bit off amid the pandemic and thanks to the ongoing farmers’ protest the traders from other states are not able to come below and purchase the content.”
