EastEnders star Rita Simons splits from husband Theo Silveston after 14 years of marriage

Previous EastEnders actress Rita Simons is splitting from her partner of 14 years.

The actress, 43, who played Roxy Mitchell in the BBC soap, has termed time on her marriage to hairdresser Theo Silveston and the pair have been secretly living apart.

The break up was verified by Rita’s representatives, the Every day Star reports.

Rita’s agent informed the publication: “Rita and Theo have been separated for just about two years and Theo moved out of the family members property some time ago.

“They are at the moment finalising their divorce, and amicably co-parenting their two daughters.”

The pair, who are thought to have break up on good terms, share twin daughters, Jamiee and Maiya, 14.

Theo has moved out of the family members property in Elstree, Hertfordshire, and a source has informed the Every day Star that Rita appreciates the break up was the “right choice.”

“The break up has been a huge transform for Rita, but she appreciates it is really the suitable choice,” reported the insider.

They continued: “She and Theo are even now on good terms, which has created all the things a good deal less difficult.”

Rita joined EastEnders in 2007 and starred together with Samantha Womack’s character Ronnie for 10 years. The pair were being firm favourites on the exhibit.

On the other hand, bosses determined to destroy off the people in 2017 and Rita has since long gone on to star in a series of phase roles, which include enjoying Caro Harcourt in The Dwelling on Cold Hill and Skip Hedge in Everybody’s Talking About Jamie.
