Ralph Lauren and MLB team up for a second fashion collab

Ralph Lauren’s prestigious sporting partnerships by now include the Olympics, Wimbledon and the US Open, so it’s only fitting that the hottest collab on the all-American designer’s roster is America’s pastime alone.

Adhering to an inaugural selection this spring, Ralph Lauren and Major League Baseball are batting 1,000 for fall, with a new minimal-version capsule featuring 3 of the sport’s most-venerated teams — the Yankees, Dodgers and Purple Sox.

The collaboration was born from Mr. Lauren’s lifelong adore of the match (he’s even taken to the mound to throw a ceremonial 1st pitch for the Yankees), and combines his signature fashion with the iconography of some of MLB’s most loved franchises. 

Fans can get their mitts on exceptional objects from caps ($89.50) to wool-and-leather-based baseball jackets ($898), all that includes a style-ahead black-on-black get on the teams’ logos.
