Sweet Martha’s Releases First-Ever Line of Merch

Mark your calendars! Tomorrow, beloved cookie empire and Condition Good vendor Sweet Martha’s Cookie Jar is launching its very first line of merch. And no, we usually are not talking about the legendary yellow tees we see sported by the cookie crew working the Minnesota Condition Good (those are for staff members only).

The cult cookie brand has been receiving requests for merchandise for a long time, but in no way had the time until now to fully commit to producing a collection. “With the cancellation of the Minnesota Condition Good this 12 months, we considered it would be a great way for us to link with our enthusiasts to give them a piece of Sweet Martha’s without having the honest,” claims St. Paul indigenous Martha Rossini Olson, operator of Sweet Martha’s Cookie Jar.

The collection of apparel features an authentic symbol grey tee, crew-neck and hooded sweatshirts, hats, kids tees, a baby onesie, and tie-dye tees—some even hand-died by Martha herself, who labored as an elementary college art instructor for a long time. “I thought this would be a great way to be able to get again to my roots even though investing time with my little ones, nieces and nephews (who all helped),” says Olson.

Ten percent of proceeds in the course of the month of August will be donated to North Minneapolis-based Cookie Cart, an firm that provides training and employment for teens ages 15 to eighteen in city nonprofit bakeries. The brand is also donating proceeds to the Hallie Q. Brown Local community Heart in St. Paul.

“We guaranteed will skip the livelihood and traditions of the Minnesota Condition Good this 12 months,” claims Olson. “We’ll skip our plenty of household and good friends who do the job alongside us, prospects, and fellow sellers who we seem forward to observing every single 12 months. We are so thrilled for the 2020 Minnesota Condition Food stuff Parade and the opportunity to serve the enthusiasts that will be attending. It is a 12 months of several firsts, and though it won’t be the exact, we are thrilled to participate in what will go down as a piece of Minnesota Condition Good heritage.”

The collection drops at ten A.M. on Thursday, August 6. sweetmarthas.com, @sweetmarthas
