Brighton coach Joel Tucker will use this weekend’s bye to fine tune for the upcoming division one finals series.

The Bombers sit top with two games remaining and will contest their first top tier major round this season.

But Brighton was given an almighty scare by eighth-placed Adelaide University away on Saturday before claiming a thrilling one-point win.

The hosts put up a solid fight before going down 9.8 (62) to 8.13 (61).
