Bangladesh commerce minister Tipu Munshi not too long ago highlighted the need to investigate new marketplaces for the country’s readymade clothes (RMG) sector to get over the crisis developed by the novel coronavirus pandemic. The authorities is all set to help even more the sector to offset the losses and just take care of the interests of companies, workers and consumers, he claimed.
“Bangladesh has to look for new marketplaces which include in the neighbouring nations for its diversified merchandise which include RMG that will enable the region to get well the crisis. The garment sector overcame the results of the first wave of the Covid-19 to some extent but we have started off to experience the impact adhering to the 2nd wave,” the minister claimed at a virtual dialogue.
